Market Center Mysteries

The Market Center Mysteries are a series of stories I'm working on set at a fictional market and commerce center building in Washington, D.C.

I've always thought a convention center would make a great setting for mysteries. A lot is at stake during the shows and meetings held at these buildings.

You get trade shows where you have a limited group of people who know each other, who are often bitter rivals or close friends, and who often love, hate or despise each other. Since businesses show product to retailers, they have a lot of money as well as their reputations on the line.

There are professional conventions where colleagues gather from all over the world to share new information and ideas. Reputations can be made or broken at these affairs. Old rivalries flare up and professional disagreements can get more than just heated.

The first of my planned series is now available from Five Star/Gale Group Mysteries.

I'm busy working on the next book n the series.
